Why Capsule Size Matters for Cats

What Are DRcaps®?

DRcaps® are plant-based HPMC capsules designed to delayed-release compared with standard immediate-release hard capsules. They should not be described as identical to a pharmaceutical enteric-coated dosage form, and the actual release of a filled capsule depends on the formulation and conditions of use.
Can I Divide Lypex into Smaller Capsules?
Ask your veterinarian or the Lypex manufacturer before changing how the product is given. Enzyme products can have specific administration instructions, and a smaller capsule is not automatically an equivalent delivery method.
